Nevertheless, it seems to me that eBay bottles sometimes end up in wine shops specializing in "anniversary" wines. However, at 30€ or less per bottle it would not be worth anyone's time to fake a wine. There are a number of eBay sellers who specialize in old wines, and they seem to have quite a lot of repeat customers; so they must be doing something right.
